The aim of the Spanish National Congress on Renewable Energies is to serve as a meeting point for professionals in the energy sector. The future of renewable energies will be on the table and European officials will explain how the 2030 objectives affect Spain.
For this reason, Effie will participate during the congress, which will bring together the main personalities of the Spanish renewable sector. María Fernández, Vice President of the CNMC; Carmen Becerril, President of OMEL; Joan Groizard, Director General of IDAE; Rafael Mateo, CEO of ACCIONA Energy; Ignacio Colmenares, President of ENCE Energía y Celulosa; Luis Pérez de Ayala, Partner of Cuatrecasas; Marina Serrano, President of AELEC; Miguel Duvison, Director General of Operations of REE, among others.
The keynote speaker of the congress will be the Minister for Ecological Transition
The keynote speaker of the congress will be Teresa Ribera, Minister for the Ecological Transition, and José Miguel Villarig, President of APPA. After their keynote speeches 40 speakers of companies and public organisations will participate during the two days.
This Edition of the congress will be characterised by the strong activity that the sector is experiencing, as a result of the 2016 and 2017 auctions. While the 2019 projects are being closed, the sector is still waiting for medium-term planning that clarifies how the new renewable energy will be implemented over the next decade, in which the PNIEC foresees more than 100,000 million euros of investment.
Closing speakers will be María Fernández, Vice President of the Spanish National Commission for Markets and Competition (CNMC) and Miguel Antoñanzas, CEO of VIESGO.
