On Tuesday, March 11th, in the afternoon, conferences will be held by LATAM companies as part of the Effie Solar 2020 event, which begins on March 10th with the keynote speech of Mario Picazo, a well-known TV presenter, committed to climate change and environmental sustainability.

Moody's in relation to energy, publishes in its report on Latin America, that the level of consumption will double in two decades, with the corresponding to renewable energy sources of more than 70%. Among all energy sources, wind and solar projects will have a greater presence for electricity generation.
Prices of solar and wind energy have dropped considerably and their adoption has increased almost exponentially throughout Latin America. In addition to cost reduction, a vital component in the transition from fossil fuels to clean energy sources is government leadership. Countries such as Costa Rica, Mexico, Colombia, Chile and Uruguay have set ambitious targets for the adoption of renewable energy and the reduction of CO2 emissions.
Nexus Energía México and Sungrow Power Chile participate in LATAM
Given the importance that the LATAM region is taking, a specific conference day has been created and it will be attended by experts such as Angie Soto, Managing Director of Nexus Energía México or Mariano Monedero Martínez-Pardo, Country Manager of Sungrow Power Chile.
During the days of the event there will also be other conferences with very specific themes, such as: energy storage, self-consumption, innovation in renewable energies or financing of renewable projects.
