Following the success of the last edition of the Effie Student Awards, Effie is once again organising this competition which aims to promote research and innovation in energy efficiency.
In this manner, Effie wants to promote the current situation of this changing industry and highlight the role that universities can play for the benefit of society and the environment.
Over the next few years, the energy industry will provide opportunities for a multitude of future professionals who, with their ideas, will help to research.
Registration period: between February 24th and April 24th 2020
We invite university students or recent graduates to participate in the competition, presenting their energy efficiency projects or end-of-course or master's degree work related to this field. The evaluation of these projects will be carried out by an expert jury, selecting the 3 finalist projects. During the days of the event, between May 12th and 14th, visitors will be able to vote for the project that they find most interesting and the winners will be chosen.
The awards for the winning projects are:
First: a grant to study an Official Master online at the School of Business and Management
Second: an iPad 2019 sponsored by Axon Time
Third: a Xiaomi My Scooter sponsored by Carlo Gavazzi
The competition is organised by Effie Virtual Congress and promoted by the Alcoi Campus of the Escuela Politécnica Superior de Valencia (EPSA- UPV) and the Higher Technical School of Mining and Energy Engineering of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), as well as sponsored by the ENyD Business School and supported by the companies Axon Time and Carlo Gavazzi.
